Five years ago, former Mayor Clay Oldner envisioned the
Dumas Police, Fire,   EMS, Court, and detention facility forming
a bond to provide the utmost security   for the citizens of
Dumas, Arkansas.  This major undertaking was named
"Operation Security 2000".  Former Mayor Oldner's vision
came about with the   ground-breaking ceremony on October
9, 1998, and the state-of-the-art facility   (the Dumas Municipal
Complex) was complete for occupancy on May 25, 2000.  The
Security 2000 Committee, along with all the citizens are to be
commended for making this dream come true.
